Shauna comes to PST from Burlingame Aquatics where she coached their Silver Group and had responsibilities for developing and conducting workouts and dry land activities.   She also previously coached at Oakland Barracudas.  She was a UC Berkeley Athletic Scholarship Recipient, 2000, she qualified as a 13-year old for the 1996 Olympic Trials and  was a2000 US Olympic Trials Participant, and member of the USA National Team and the US World Cup team in 1999.   

 

Her specialties were IM and backstroke events.

 

She has a degree from UC Berkeley in Interdisciplinary Studies with a focus on clean energy, environment and society.

Kristen is returning to swim coaching full time after a stint in the medical equipment world.  Her coaching experience comes from Lafayette Moraga Youth Association where she was the Head Coach for 2 years and an Assistant Coach for a year.

 

She has a dual major from UC Berkeley in English Literature and Molecular and Cell Biology.

 

She and Shauna swam on the UC Berkeley team together, where Kristen was the Team Captain of the Women's Swimming and Diving team.

Colby joins us from teaching at a Concord based swim school, Little Dipper Aquatic Center and as a seasonial Assistant Head Coach for the Terrapins Swim Team in Concord.  He was the Head Coach at Gehringer Park Swim Team in Concord as well.

 

He attended a program in Kinesiology for sports training at Diablo Valley College.
